Large Food Distribution Company is looking for a Lead Performance Test Engineer for a long term contract located in Rosemont IL. Please see the details below. Required: Engineer NOT just a tester Neoload (at least 6 months) In this role you can expect to… • Plan, coordinate and manage the overall Performance testing approach, tool capabilities and strategy • Conduct meetings with Business, Architects and Development teams to identify scope and have a thorough understanding of Business and infrastructure • Review the test scripts, workload model and test execution results • Conduct defect triage meetings and communicate the Test results to the project stakeholders • Produce and distribute performance project status reports • Contribute to establishing reusable/repeatable processes for performance testing as per the industry's best practices for the IT QA organization • Lead in the development of innovative approaches using the enterprise testing tools and current industry standards • Assist the enterprise in effective planning, coordination and control of available resources The ideal candidate looks like this… • At least 6 years of experience planning, writing and executing performance test required • At least 4 years of experience developing strategies, execution of performance testing and software tuning projects required • At least 2 years of experience in a technical lead role including performance automation and performance analysis required • At least 2 years of experience leading offshore teams and associated resources • Experience with Performance testing tools, to include Neoload • Industry knowledge of Performance engineering best practices, the QA process and test automation standards and goals leading to system reliability. • Strong analytical and problem solving skills are required to identify inconsistencies between requirements and delivered capabilities, identify and troubleshoot quality issues, and to assist in problem resolution • Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal skills • Ability to communicate testing results to all individuals with varying degrees of technical knowledge in a manner that demonstrates professionalism • Use Splunk and New Relica plus if have this experience Familiar with various validation methodologies (SDLC), and their implementation in an IT organization EEO Employer Apex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
