Radio Frequency Engineer - Satellite, Ground systems, Telecommunications, RF, Networks

Long term contract/freelance opportunity for an RF Engineer to join my leading client in the Telecommunications industry. This role will be coming in to support the build of a brand new Ground Systems Infrastructure for a new Satellite constellation as part of a Greenfield project which is launching a new fleet of Satellites providing Telecommunication services across Europe.

To be successful in this role we are seeking a hands on Engineer with experience in the following areas:

• 5+ years experience in Design, Deployment, Engineering of Satellite Ground systems infrastructure
• Technical background in RF engineering (Radio Frequency - 30, 40, 50 GHz)
• Networking (IP, MPLS, BGP, Gateway infrastructure)
• Experience with measurement equipment such as: Spectrum analyser, Network Analyser, Power meter, Signal generator
• Scripting/Automation technologies - Python and/or VBA

This position is working on-site at the clients offices in Luxembourg.
