AS400 Equation Developer

We are seeking a skilled AS400 Equation Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining applications on the AS400 platform using the Equation banking system. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, efficient solutions that meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance applications using AS400 and Equation software.
• Perform system analysis, coding, testing, and debugging.
• Maintain and optimize existing Equation-based solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
• Ensure system performance, security, and scalability.
• Provide technical support and documentation for developed solutions.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an AS400 developer with expertise in Equation (ESSENTIAL)
• Strong knowledge of RPG, CL, and DB2 on the AS400/iSeries platform.

Preferred FTC, but maybe open to day rate contract.
