Software Architect - Security Cleared - EU Citizens

We are seeking a Software Architect to lead the architecture review process, facilitate technical and non-technical discussions, and document the existing system. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java-based distributed systems and experience working with key technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive architecture review and documentation.
• Facilitate discussions, resolve disagreements, and ensure alignment.
• Work closely with stakeholders to refine technical solutions.
• Ensure best practices in scalability, security, and performance.
• Support transition and handover activities.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Java-based components, Spring Boot, Kafka, Flink (distributed systems), Elasticsearch (ELK).
• Strong experience in software architecture and system design.
• Ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Security awareness and experience in secure system design.

This is a full-time, freelance role with long-term prosperity. The customer requires candidates that are already Security Cleared to apply. You must also be an EU Citizen with the right to work as a freelancer.
