Senior Network Engineer/Architect - Narmur, Belgium

Languages: ENGLISH only

Skills and Experience:

  • Baccalaureate or master
  • Professional experience of at least 5 years in the field.
  • Good knowledge in network technologies: LAN, WAN, WLAN. A CCNP certification is a must (or equivalent level).
  • Good knowledge of dynamic routing protocols: OSPF, BGP as well as IPV4 and IPV6 protocols.
  • Security experience (Firewalls, DNS, DHCP, PKI, Monitoring, SIEM) is a plus
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies is a plus.
  • Good analytical ability.
  • Rigorous and organised in the work. oriented problem solving.
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral. You enjoy collaborating with different stakeholders (IT, telecom, heritage, regions, suppliers, etc.)
  • Knowledge of ITIL repositories

Description of work:

  • To these projects are added the day-to-day management and the need for upgradeable maintenance.
  • The designer/network architect must propose solutions and technical architectures.
  • He/She must propose a technical roadmap for the various projects and be able to make the presentation.
  • He/She must follow the projects by being technical referent. It must present the changes by analysing the impacts and defining the implementation and rollback plans.
  • It is essential to have relevant experience in order to anticipate problems and solutions without going through an excessive learning phase.
