Security Accreditation Controller - UK Government

The Security Accreditation Controller will be responsible for providing support to the Security Architect in the creation and design of security for the in-scope services, maintain security documentation and develop architecture patterns and security approaches to new technologies. The individual may be required to engage with PAGs accreditors, to ensure conformity to the relevant processes and procedures. The individual will demonstrate an understanding of security concepts, and an ability to effectively translate and accurately communicate security and risk implications to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

You will also be required to:

• Support the development of the Accreditation Strategy
• Support the development of the Accreditation Plan

Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level Developed Vetting clearance in the past are most welcome to apply. Please note successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment which can take up to a minimum 6 months for this level of security clearance.
