Role: MuleSoft Developer

Location: Mostly remote with the possibility of occasional client travel to Hursley or Fareham
Contract Length: 6 months
Rate: £450 -£460 pd inside IR35
Clearance: SC and NPPV3 - Must have

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Build and maintain integration flows using Anypoint Studio.
• Develop and implement custom connectors and modules.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and stakeholders to understand and deliver business requirements.
• Troubleshoot and debug integration issues.
• Deploy APIs to CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, on-prem workers, etc.
• Implement API-led connectivity and enforce best practices in API management.
• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines for MuleSoft deployments.

What You'll Bring:

• Strong experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Mule ESB, API Manager, CloudHub, etc.).
• Proficiency in Java, XML, JSON, SQL, and integration protocols such as REST and SOAP.
• Hands-on experience with RAML specifications, DataWeave Scripting, and API contract creation.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• MuleSoft certification (MuleSoft Certified Developer) is a plus.
