SCADA Tester - 6 Month Contract - Hybrid - Inside IR35

We are seeking a skilled SCADA Tester to join a leading utilities company on a 6-month contract, with a strong potential for extension beyond 12 months. This role offers a hybrid working model, combining remote flexibility with 2 days per week onsite at an office in Warwick (does have potential to move to full time on site).

As a SCADA Tester, you will be a key player in ensuring the reliability and functionality of SCADA systems, focusing on OSII Monarch. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, test, and resolve issues, contributing to the success of critical projects in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct testing to validate the successful transition between Legacy systems and the SCADA environment.
• Develop and execute test plans, scripts, and scenarios to validate system performance.
• Identify, log, and manage risks and issues arising during the testing life cycle in your area of responsibility.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and project leads, to ensure comprehensive test coverage
• Lead defect triage for your ART Team ensuring the right stakeholders are engaged.

What you Will Ideally Bring:

• Previous project experience with Power utility Transmission networks, functional testing, communication testing, and performance testing.
• Exposure to OSI Monarch Testing Utilities, previous experience of SCADA and Reat-Time Control and NMS (Network Monitoring Systems).
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to power systems and control systems engineering (eg, IEC101, IEC104, GI74, IEC 61850, IEEE standards.
• Monitor and report on the progress of test preparation and execution of JIRA/XRAY Tests.

Contract Details:

• Duration: 6 months (Strong View for Extension)
• Location: Warwick 2x Per Week (Scope to move to 5x on-site)
• Day Rate: Up to £500 Per Day (Inside IR35)
• Start Date: ASAP
