2nd Line Support Analyst (Progression into Cyber security)
We are currently recruiting for a 2nd Line Support Analyst for a growing MSP with a focus on developing future cyber security talent. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced IT support professional looking to expand their skills and eventually transition into a cyber security role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 2nd line support, resolving technical issues related to hardware, software, networking, and systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot client-reported issues, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
- Collaborate with the IT team to maintain secure IT systems and assist with security-related tasks.
- Document all issues, resolutions, and technical procedures to enhance internal knowledge.
- As you progress, gain exposure to cyber security functions such as incident management, vulnerability assessments, and security monitoring.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in a 2nd line support or technical support role.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities with experience in operating systems (Windows, Linux), networking, and IT infrastructure.
- A solid understanding of IT systems, with a keen interest in moving into cyber security.
- Experience using IT support tools, ticketing systems, and service management platforms.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with internal teams and clients.
- Eagerness to learn and progress into a cyber security role over time.
