IT Service Delivery Manager - Cork - £300/day - 6 month rolling - immediate start

bluewaveSELECT are supporting our global client, in their search for an IT Service Delivery Manager for their site in Cork.

Travel expenses will not be paid, so you must either be local, or happy to cover your own costs - onsite will flex from full time for key go-lives, to remote when not onsite is required. So ability to travel to Cork when required is needed. Visa will not be sponsored for this role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Client & Stakeholder Management

   • Serve as the main client contact for IT service delivery.
   • Meet or exceed service levels and expectations.
   • Address client concerns and drive service improvements.

2. Service Performance & Delivery

   • Oversee end-to-end IT service delivery (cloud, infrastructure, applications).
   • Monitor KPIs, SLAs, and operational metrics.
   • Ensure compliance with ITIL and best practices.

3. Team & Vendor Management

   • Manage IT support and delivery teams, including vendors.
   • Coordinate between development, operations, and customer support.

4. Incident & Problem Management

   • Lead major incident resolution and implement preventive measures.
   • Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues.

5. Process Improvement & Optimization

   • Implement ITIL best practices for service management.
   • Identify automation opportunities and streamline delivery.

6. Budget & Cost Management

   • Ensure cost-effective service delivery while maintaining quality.
   • Manage vendor contracts and service agreements.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and ITSM.
• Excellent client management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage service operations, SLAs, and escalations.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills for service improvement.
• Experience with ITSM tools like ServiceNow, Jira, etc.
