An Asset Manager in London seeks a Data Management Aladdin Business Analyst to join its Data Management and Data Governance team. While the role is a BA, it requires a deep Aladdin expertise to maintain and refine processes and procedures across data management functions.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the Aladdin subject matter expert, supporting portfolio and group setup, indices, benchmarks, security setup, and analytics.
• Support data management initiatives, ensuring accuracy across asset classes, income events, fund accounting, client reporting, and middle/Back Office functions.
• Conduct process mapping, solution design, and gap analysis, ensuring robust governance and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with data owners to align with data governance principles and secure necessary approvals.
• Ensure data compliance across projects and contribute to documentation of data models and naming conventions.
• Assist in testing, build, and sign-off phases to ensure seamless project delivery.

Experience

• Strong experience with BlackRock Aladdin, including portfolio/group setup, benchmarks, security setup, and analytics.
• Background in Data Management or Asset Management, with an understanding of asset classes, fund accounting, and operational processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong business analysis expertise, including process mapping, solution design, and gap analysis.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word.
• Familiarity with database design, data models, and file transfer processes.
• Experience with Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Automate.
• Ability to engage with data owners and guide them on data governance objectives.
