Financial Risk Analyst - Banking - HYBRID
Finance - Risk - Analyst - Compliance - Audit - Governance - Data Management
Finance Risk Analyst required by large Investment Bank, London based (Hybrid home/office working) to work within the Business Risk Management team, who oversee the first line of defence. They work with Trading, Client Support, Business Development and Operations teams to address and mitigate non-financial: operational, regulatory and technology risks.
You will help identify and drive solutions in support of risk management activities and aim to develop and enhance the overall control environment. In this role, you will also interact with global teams across the three lines of defence.
You will have recent Banking experience as a Finance Risk Analyst coupled with experience of:
- Knowledge of Global Markets financial products, services and local regulations (FCA, BaFin, MiFID).
- Experience in Risk, Compliance, Audit or related Governance role(s) preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in audit, compliance, operations or business risk in the financial services industry, with particular emphasis on the Securities Financing or Foreign Exchange industries preferred.
- Excellent writing, data management, attention to detail and reporting skills.
- Self-motivated professional with the ability to work in fast paced environment with competing priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to adapt to various audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word, Teams). Experience with Archer risk system is an advantage.
