SAP Finance Transformation Manager

About the Role:

A global manufacturer is undergoing a large-scale finance transformation, leveraging SAP S/4HANA to modernise and optimise its finance operations. They are seeking an experienced S/4HANA Finance Transformation Manager to drive this initiative, ensuring seamless system integration, process standardisation, and business alignment. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role, requiring deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to deliver transformation programs in complex, multinational environments

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the end-to-end finance transformation, ensuring successful deployment of SAP S/4HANA Finance and related digital solutions.
Collaborate with finance, IT, and business stakeholders to align technology with finance operating models and business objectives.
Drive process harmonization across finance, controlling, and reporting to improve efficiency and compliance.
Oversee system configuration, data migration, and integration with other enterprise applications.
Identify risks and proactively mitigate challenges related to implementation, adoption, and user training.
Act as a trusted advisor to finance leaders, providing guidance on best practices and industry trends.
Ensure adherence to compliance, regulatory, and audit requirements.

• 10+ years of experience in finance transformation within manufacturing, FMCG, or industrial sectors.
• Proven track record of delivering SAP S/4HANA Finance projects at a regional or global scale.
• Strong understanding of SAP FICO (Finance & Controlling), Group Reporting, and Project Systems (PS).
• Experience managing full SAP life cycle projects from blueprinting to deployment and hypercare.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive change in a complex organisation.
• Hands-on experience with process automation, data analytics, and digital finance innovations.
• Strong communication skills and ability to bridge finance and IT functions.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of French and/or Italian is a plus.
