The Field Service Engineer will service DESMI Pump equipment. In this role, they will be responsible for providing customer facing service, repair, installation, commissioning and preventative maintenance. The Field Service Engineer will demonstrate independence and sound technical judgment to execute assignments take an innovative approach to problem solving and share technical knowledge with others in the team and across the organization. The Service Engineer Installs, configures, troubleshoots, and maintains DESMI pumps and products/equipment. He/She will Identify, analyses, and repair system failures, and replaces parts as needed. The Field Service Engineer will answer basic customer questions about energy-optimizing systems and ballast water systems on ships worldwide. They may provide some customer training. The Field Service Engineer will works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Ability to obtain security clearance prior to appointment. (CRB check) Bachelors degree with electrical Engineering background. Experience with service lifecycle within the Marines, Automotive or similar controlled industry. An understanding of service delivery and order systems.
