Email Developer - JP Morgan - London - 12 months contract - Hybrid - PAYE

We are seeking an experienced Email Developer to join Nutmeg, JP Morgan's digital wealth management business on an initial 12 months contract in London. As an Email Developer, you will have responsibility for increasing the bank's email marketing success by coding, amending, building and testing email communications. You should be passionate for creating exciting and engaging email creatives, an understanding of working with branding guidelines and UX research, and attention to detail to ensure identical rendering design across browsers, ESPs and devices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Uplifting and updating existing email templates and designs as well as developing new engaging templates for multiple use cases as part of the customer life cycle
  • Ensuring consistent rendering design of communications across browsers, EDPs and devices
  • Organising and maintaining library of templates and communications within Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Ensuring accessibility requirements are met across all communications
  • Working closely with product, design and content teams, effectively communicating requirements and ensuring delivery against agreed deadlines

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience and a track-record of producing best in class communications
  • Extensive knowledge of email design best practise including responsive design and UX
  • Ability to code for compatibility across various email clients and devices
  • Experience using email proofing tools such as Validity and Email on Acid
  • Proficiency in HTML and CSS
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Working knowledge of SQL and AMPscript
  • Eye for design and detail.
  • Translating design mockups into pixel-perfect, functional emails.
  • Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and optimise email performance.
  • Experience working with Appsflyer is a plus
  • Excellent organisation, communication and influencing ability, developed in a fast-paced, digital-first environment with agile ways of working
  • Be adaptable to evolving business needs and a changing environment, including regulatory and email industry changes.

*Please note that this role will initially be working on a hybrid model of 3 days office based with the potential of being full time office based in the future. You'll require you own device when WFH.*
