Senior Python Developer/Quant Developer. Python, Pandas, Numpy, AWS/Azure.

Our client are a prestigious commodities/energy trader based in Central London. The have a really exciting programme to modernise the pre-trade decision tooling across all their commodity products. The firm have already built a very experienced team of 10 (Delivery Lead, BA's, Python Dev's and QA) but as the programme/recognised value gain momentum they have an increased project portfolio, leading to the recruitment of an additional 2 x very competent Python Developers.

Ideal candidates have deep hands on Python, (and associated libraries, PANDAS, NUMPY etc), development experience gained within an investment bank, hedge fund or commodities trading firm. You'll be familiar with the demands that low latency, high frequency trading has on systems development and be keen to work on an interesting, complex, pre-trade software development programme alongside excellent people.

What's unique about this role? It offers the opportunity to make an impact without bureaucracy. Engage closely with business teams and design and develop a modern Front Office and analytics ecosystem for Power, PPA's, Gas, Carbon and LNG. Its a long term 24+ month contract inside IR35. The client have an excellent working culture, fantastic offices in Mayfair and a hybrid working policy with 2 days per week onsite.
