Applications and Data Teams Manager (DV Cleared) - £700 per day via Umbrella - 12-month contract - Birmingham (Hybrid) - SCC Flex Contract

We are looking for an Applications and Data Teams Manager to manage a diverse team of Application Analysts, Engineers, and SQL DBAs, handling incidents, changes, and releases. You will engage with stakeholders, represent Applications and Data in meetings, and ensure smooth transitions of new services to BAU support

Your responsibilities as the Applications and Data Teams Manager:

• Lead and mentor the Applications and Data Teams.
• Manage BAU workloads and prioritize tasks according to ITIL best practices.
• Represent the teams in meetings and communicate technical solutions clearly.
• Provide out-of-hours escalation support as part of the Management On Call roster.
• Collaborate with other managers to ensure efficient support services.
• Act as a subject matter expert at the change advisory board.
• Develop and report on key performance indicators.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and conduct resilience testing.
• Monitor application tools and ensure adherence to Change and Release management processes.
• Ensure compliance with CSC Infrastructure standards and security procedures.

As a successful Applications and Data Teams Manager, you will have:

• Service management of high-priority digital or technology services.
• DV clearance - active
• Building relationships with business users and senior stakeholders.
• Managing suppliers and their performance against SLAs.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Line management and leadership.
• Understanding of the Application Lifecycle and ITIL processes.
• Performing application upgrades, patches, and failovers.
• Supporting COTS and web-based software applications.
• Strong customer focus and communication skills.
