The Role:

As a Senior Developer, you will:

  • Lead the development and maintenance of key web products, including high-visibility public dashboards and interactive platforms.
  • Manage the full life cycle of software and web development, from conceptualisation to deployment, ensuring solutions are robust, scalable, and user-friendly.
  • Own the development and optimisation of their organisation's website, ensuring it is a seamless hub for engagement with partners, stakeholders, and the public.
  • Oversee cloud computing, data flows, and web infrastructure using Microsoft Azure, ensuring best-practice security, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring solutions align with strategic priorities and user needs.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Strong technical expertise in web development, including experience with JavaScript, Python, PHP, and frameworks for building interactive and data-driven web applications.
  • Experience with data visualisation and the development of dashboards, GIS models, or analytics platforms.
  • Proven ability to manage and optimise websites, including familiarity with Azure cloud services and hosting environments.
