Hamilton Barnes is seeking an experienced AWS Connect Engineer with expertise in Amazon Connect to join a renowned organisation for an initial 6-month contract, with the potential for extension. In this role, you'll play a key part in developing and implementing Amazon Connect solutions while ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
This position offers a hybrid working arrangement, with one day per week required onsite in Windsor for close collaboration with stakeholders and team members. This position is confirmed inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, and implementation of an Amazon Connect cloud-based solution.
- Serve as a consultative technology point of contact in the planning, implementation, and maintenance of Amazon Connect, including determining the services used and their interconnectivity.
- Develop and manage integrations between services in Amazon Connect.
- Provide expertise in Lambda, Python, and JSON as the control point for all service development and integration within the organisation.
- Participate in daily scrums, work with Scrum Masters and QA teams, and support delivery timelines and priorities.
What You Will Ideally Bring:
- Experience within enterprise environments deploying Amazon Connect.
- Expertise in integrating Amazon Connect contact flows with Python, Lambda, and JSON.
- Knowledge of modern DevOps tools and techniques, including GitHub, CI/CD, and Docker.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Contract Details:
- Duration: 6 months (View for Extension)
- Day Rate: Up to £500 per day (Inside IR35)
- Location: 1x Per Week in Windsor
- Start Date: ASAP
