IT Security Analyst - MS Purview, MS Defender, Intune, Sentinel - City, London

Our Client who works in the Lloyd's Insurance Market is recruiting an IT Security Analyst to join their team. The IT Security Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting security operations, security assurance, governance, risk management and compliance efforts.

Coming from a technical background the IT Security Analysts key responsibilities will include:-

• Monitor and analyse security events, incidents, and alerts to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities
• Support compliance efforts, including ISO27001 certification
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective security security controls, services and applications
• Participate in incident response activities and contribute to security incident investigations
• Liaison with Clients, Suppliers & Vendors

Key experience/skills required:-

• Experience in deploying and configuring Microsoft Purview is essential
• Experience of Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Entra ID & M365 - Intune and Sentinel
• 5+ years of experience in security analysis, risk management
• Good knowledge of cloud platform security technologies - Azure
• Previous experience working as an engineer/systems administrator/application developer

This role is hybrid working a couple of days a month (or as and when required) in their offices in the City of London
