Job Title: R2R Lead

Location: South West England

Hybrid 2-3 days working in the office

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced R2R Lead to oversee the Record to Report (R2R) function within a large, multinational organisation. This leadership role requires a finance professional with expertise in BPO environments, strong stakeholder management skills, and a proven track record of managing R2R processes at scale. The R2R Lead will manage a global team, including the R2R GPO, regional finance leads, and outsourced offshore teams, with a focus on process optimisation, financial reporting efficiency, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and optimise the R2R function to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across financial reporting.
• Manage balance sheet integrity, reconciliation, and reporting in a timely manner.
• Drive process improvements, standardisation, and automation across R2R operations.
• Oversee integration of financial controls, compliance, and reporting processes in alignment with global standards.
• Provide leadership to the R2R team, ensuring high performance and engagement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, both internal and external.
• Manage outsourced offshore teams and ensure alignment with onshore operations.
• Leverage Oracle or SAP for system optimisation and process enhancements.
• Drive change management and process transformation initiatives.
• Communicate effectively across all levels and navigate challenging situations with resilience.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven leadership experience in an R2R function in a large multinational.
• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACAM, ACCA, or equivalent).
• Strong BPO experience managing large-scale outsourced teams.
• Expertise in balance sheet management, financial controls, and R2R processes.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle or SAP ERP systems.
• Strong process optimisation and finance transformation experience.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Resilient, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
