Position: Senior Frontend Web Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Web Developer to join our team in driving new initiatives forward. This position involves working on the Front End stack, developing ReactJS components, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate API services, enhancing the SDUI Component Library. Requirements:

• English proficiency: Minimum B2 level with fluency.
• Profile should be in English.
• Location: Lisbon, Braga, or Coimbra (Remote/On-site). Applicants must be based in Portugal.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work alongside Staff Developers and Engineering Managers to deliver scalable, flexible components for business partners.
• Gain a deep understanding of our libraries and applications, identifying areas for improvement and collaborating with the team to optimize development processes.
• Contribute to the creation of software components that will enhance our overall portfolio.
• Develop design documents and supporting documentation for easier maintenance and code reuse.
• Leverage your knowledge of industry trends and tools to contribute to the improvement of our software, work environment, and development processes.
• Collaborate with development teams and technical leads to overcome obstacles and keep initiatives on track.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to junior developers.
• Offer technical guidance and support for resolving critical issues.
• Lead solution design sessions, producing diagrams and documentation to communicate solutions effectively.
• Provide input and share expertise with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Does This Sound Like You?

• You have at least 7 years of experience in Front End development and component creation.
• Your technical expertise includes (but is not limited to): HTML5, CSS3, Modern Typescript, React with NextJS, Testing Libraries, REST Services, Storybook, Shadcn (RadixUI), and Tailwind CSS.
• You are passionate about crafting elegant solutions and seamlessly integrating cloud services to optimize architectural designs.
• You have a growth mindset, always looking to improve yourself, your team, and the products you work on.
• You are a responsible, team-oriented individual eager to learn and master new technologies.
• You have experience building high-traffic, production-ready applications.
• You understand and adhere to web accessibility best practices (WCAG 2.1, AA).

• You've developed large-scale applications in collaborative team environments.
