RecOps is partnered with a consultancy who have won a new ServiceNow Implementation project.

This would be mainly remote with occasional travel onsite to Leeds or London & would be inside IR35

About the Position

The Certified ServiceNow Implementation Specialist (ITSM) is responsible for leading and delivering the implementation of ServiceNow modules and solutions, primarily focusing on IT Service Management (ITSM). This role ensures that ITSM processes are tailored to meet organisational requirements, improving IT operations and service delivery while adhering to best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead ITSM implementations, configuring and customising ServiceNow modules in line with best practices.
  • Conduct requirements gathering workshops and design sessions with key stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement workflows, Scripting, automation, and configurations to support ITSM processes.
  • Have a strong understanding and experience in platform configurations, upgrades, and plugins, ensuring system integrity and security.
  • Test and troubleshoot ServiceNow functionality to guarantee stability, performance, and compliance.
  • Provide post-implementation support, documentation, and user training to ensure successful adoption.

Requirements

  • Active SC clearance (or eligibility to obtain SC clearance).
  • Proven experience in delivering ServiceNow ITSM implementations, with documented evidence of previous projects.
  • Certified Implementation Specialist - ITSM (CIS-ITSM) certification.
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, etc.).
  • Foundation-level expertise in the ServiceNow platform, including:
    • System administration.
    • Platform configuration and management.
    • Upgrades, plugins, and integrations.
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow Scripting, process automation, and customisation.
  • Solid knowledge of the ITIL framework and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills.
