We are looking for a highly capable 1st/2nd Line Desktop Support Technician to join our client, a large managed IT consultancy working onsite for their end client in Middlesbrough. This is a contract position within IR35.
Please note an enhanced DBS Check will be required prior to starting this role.
Job Summary:
To maintain all IT Systems to a high standard ensuring operational availability and to respond effectively to all help-desk requests.
Candidate Profile
- Ability to respond to a high volume of support tickets in a timely and professional manner, resolving and escalating when required
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ensure the resolution of all IT incidents and service requests within agreed SLA's
- Experience within the education sector is highly desirable
Technical Skills:
- Ticketing Systems (Spiceworks)
- Service Now
- Windows 10/11 & Office 2016 and above
- Office 365
You will operate the help-desk, record and monitor system issues resolving or escalating when required.
3-6 months initially
