Oracle DBA - AWS - DV Cleared

SR2 are recruiting an AWS Oracle DBA for a government client in London. Due to the nature of the role, active DV clearance and willingness to travel to London twice per week is required.

You'll be critical in maintaining and optimising my client's database infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance. The role requires deep expertise in Oracle databases deployed on AWS, supporting mission-critical applications in a highly secure environment.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Certification: Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) and AWS Certified
• Experience:
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Oracle DBA with at least 2 years in AWS cloud environments.
• Proven experience with Oracle 19c/12c and AWS RDS/Aurora.
• Strong understanding of AWS services including EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, and CloudFormation.
• Experience with database performance tuning, query optimisation, and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and ASM.
• Knowledge of backup and recovery tools such as RMAN.
