Globally leading defence/cyber security company
£400 to £550 per day, outside IR35

WHO WE ARE?
We are recruiting an Application Packager to work with an industry-leading national security company in a growing End User Services UK department. You will be part of a dynamic team, supporting multiple high-profile clients and driving continuous improvement for end-user experience.

WHAT WILL THE APPLICATION PACKAGER BE DOING?
As an Application Packager, you will be responsible for providing software in a controlled and monitored method. This forward-thinking position allows you to drive efficiency and improvements in the software delivery process.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Quality assurance testing of packaged software
• Documenting applications to detail their purpose and functionality
• Building strong relationships with clients, third parties, and vendors
• Assisting with UAT fault resolution

WE NEED THE APPLICATION PACKAGER TO HAVE

• SC clearance (or ability to obtain SC clearance)
• Expert knowledge in Packaging Tools such as Flexera Admin Studio, Advanced Installer, PACE, or Orca
• Experience with Microsoft Intune/Azure Modern Desktop Management (Cloud Technology)
• Proficiency in PowerShell Scripting
• Packaging experience for platforms like Win 7 and Win 10
• Experience with MS App-V Sequencer and Windows Installer (MSI/MSIX) technology
• Strong understanding of SCCM deployment, UAT, and 3rd line support

IT WOULD BE NICE FOR THE APPLICATION PACKAGER TO HAVE

• Experience with troubleshooting faults and finding solutions during UAT
• Knowledge of deploying packaged software to devices for UAT testing
