Network Engineer
If you are a Network Engineer with excellent communication skills and the ability to work on a project team, we have a great new contract we'd like to discuss with you.
Please note this role will require onsite attendance 5 days per week, travelling between a few sites in London and Kent. All expenses will be paid.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the removal and replacement of networking equipment.
Perform functional and performance testing on network and server hardware, including Routers, Switches, Servers, and storage devices.
Validate hardware features, configurations, and firmware to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards.
Perform secure data wiping on network and server devices to ensure that all sensitive data is thoroughly erased.
Document and verify the data wiping process to maintain compliance with data security standards.
Diagnose and resolve hardware-related issues through testing and debugging.
Technical Skills:
Basic understanding of network and server hardware components (Routers, Switches, Servers, etc.).
Familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, Ethernet) and hardware interfaces
Knowledge of secure data wiping processes and tools
Experience with hardware testing environments
Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or related.
Driving License - Not required, but advantageous.
