One of our public sector clients requires a Service Manager/IT Asset Manager to join their Business Operations department.

You will have experience in the following:

• managing the full life cycle of IT assets (hardware, software, peripherals) from procurement to disposal.
• auditing, managing, tracking assets, including the set up of new hardware/software.
• communicating organisation IT strategy and policy within specific business units.
• forecasting IT technology needs
• responsible for IT spend across business units
• experience managing 'self service' solutions such as laptop loan lockers/IT Vending units.

This is a 6 months contract offfering a day rate circa £300 inside ir35. Extensions likely.

*this role is 100% onsite. You must be able to be on-site in Salford 5 days per week*

Start date ASAP/couple of weeks notice max.
