ABOUT YOU

We are looking for a highly skilled and technically proficient Murex Back Office Business Analyst/Configurator with expertise in trade processing, settlement, and reporting. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of Murex, strong analytical skills, and a background in software engineering. A passion for optimizing system performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring regulatory compliance is essential for success in this role.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO

• Configure and maintain Murex for Back Office functionalities, including trade processing and settlement.

• Implement and support system enhancements to improve performance and stability.

• Develop scripts and automation tools to extend Murex capabilities.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements by adapting Murex configurations and reporting.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate needs into technical specifications.

• Perform system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Provide production support, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing workflows.

• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement innovative solutions.

AN IDEAL PROFILE WOULD BE

• Extensive experience in Murex configuration and customization, particularly Back Office modules.

• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, and SQL for data extraction and automation.

• Knowledge of financial products such as Fixed Income, FX, Money Market, Interest Rates, and Commodities.

• Hands-on experience with settlement instructions, payment processing, and reconciliation.

• Familiarity with regulatory compliance, financial reporting, and implementation of regulatory changes.

• Experience in optimizing system performance and integrating Murex with other financial systems.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in an agile environment.

• A degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, with relevant certifications being a plus.
