Hybrid Microsoft Azure Solution Architect needed for a 6-12 months in the Bavaria, Sothern Germany, paying 700 per day all inclusive. The ideal candidate must be able to work in Germany for the entire contract and speak German and English.
You will be responsible for the hands-on implementation, optimization, and support of cloud-based solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. The role requires deep technical expertise in Azure services, experience with migrating services from on-premises to the cloud, and the ability to work on complex projects requiring immediate, practical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
As a Microsoft Azure solutions architect, you have subject matter expertise in designing cloud and hybrid solutions that run on Azure.
Your main responsibilities are related to the following subjects:
- Azure Environment Maintenance and Extension
- On-Premises Infrastructure Migration
- Azure Architecture Design and Implementation following Azure CAF Framework
- Application Consolidation and Modernization
- Hybrid and On-Premises Ecosystem Expertise
- Collaboration with the Project and Technical Team
Your responsibilities for this role include advising stakeholders and translating business requirements into designs for Azure solutions that align with the Azure Well-Architected Framework and Cloud Adoption Framework for Azure. In this role, you implement solutions on Azure by partnering with various other job roles, including:
- Developers
- Administrators
- Security engineers
- Data engineers
- Other responsibilities are:
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance Azure cloud solutions to meet specific business requirements.
- Lead hands-on migration of services and workloads from on-premises to Azure, ensuring minimal downtime and adherence to best practices.
- Configure and deploy Azure resources, including virtual machines, networking, storage, and security services.
- Implement governance frameworks for Azure environments, focusing on cost management, compliance, and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Optimize Azure infrastructure for performance and cost efficiency.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts using tools like Terraform or Bicep.
- Hands-On Approach: Directly involved in the implementation, deployment, and operationalisation of Azure solutions.
- Provide hands-on support for CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps processes.
Technical Skills:
- Design identity, governance, and monitoring solutions
- Design data storage solutions
- Design business continuity solutions
- Design infrastructure solutions
- Deep hands-on experience with Azure services, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.

- Advanced proficiency with Azure Active Directory (AAD) and Entra ID for identity management.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Azure DevOps.
- Proficiency in Scripting for automation using PowerShell or Python.
- Knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
Certifications (preferred):
