SC Cleared Cloud Engineer (AWS & Azure)
my client a leaer in their field are seeking an SC Cleared Cloud Engineer to support a key project within a secure environment. The role involves working on AWS and/or Azure platforms, optimizing infrastructure processes, enhancing security, and streamlining deployment and disaster recovery strategies.
THIS ROLE IS INSIDE IR35
This position requires regular on-site work in London and offers an opportunity to contribute to critical cloud infrastructure improvements.
Key Responsibilities:- Release & Version Management: Review and improve release management and version control for AWS Workspace software applications.
- Infrastructure Alerts & Monitoring: Optimize and rationalize alerts, alarms, and resolution processes for a more streamlined operational workflow.
- Secure Cloud Connectivity: Implement and scale secure connections between AWS and/or Azure environments.
- Application Refactoring & Migration: Refactor and migrate Python web applications currently hosted in Data-for-Insights.
- Security Enhancement: Support the introduction of Zscaler within the Digital Analytics Platform (DAP) to strengthen security.
- Disaster Recovery Planning: Develop a disaster recovery run book for AWS and Azure services.
- Workspace Migration: Lead the migration of all workspaces to Windows Server 2022 using DSV connection protocol.
Key Skills & Experience:
Active SC Clearance - Mandatory for this role.
AWS & Azure Expertise - Strong hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, networking, and security.
Infrastructure Monitoring & Automation - Experience optimizing alerts, alarms, and resolution workflows.
Python Web Applications - Knowledge of refactoring and migrating applications in cloud environments.
Security Best Practices - Familiarity with Zscaler and other cloud security tools.
Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity - Experience developing DR run books for cloud environments.
Windows Server 2022 & DSV Protocol - Experience migrating and managing Windows-based workspaces.
