About the Role:

Seeking a Technology Risk and Controls Associate to join our IT Asset Management (ITAM) Risk function to support the senior Risk Officer in identifying, assessing, remediating and reporting ITAM risks across the firm.
We're seeking someone to join our IT Asset Management (ITAM) Risk function to support the senior Risk Officer in identifying, assessing, remediating and reporting ITAM risks across the firm. In the Technology division, we leverage innovation to build the connections and capabilities that power our Firm, enabling our clients and colleagues to redefine markets and shape the future of our communities. This is a Technology Risk & Controls position at Associate level, which is part of the job family responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to ensure operational continuity and resilience in the face of potential threats or disruptions that could impact the organization, plus management of ongoing incidents.

What You'll Do:
* Assist in the identification and assessment of IT Asset Management risks
* Track and report on risk mitigation actions
* Monitor risk indicators and investigate root cause of significant changes
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights for risk analysis
* Assist in analysing and interpreting risks to identify any underlying themes and/or trends
* Prepare risk reports for senior management
* Support the implementation of risk management frameworks
* Assist in risk assessments under the guidance of senior team members
* Continuously learn about risk management best practices

These skills will help you succeed in this role:
* Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Risk Management or a related field or equivalent experience
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detailed-orientated approach
* Accurate, tenacious and delivery focused mindset

* Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines across multiple tasks
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
* Basic understanding of risk management principles
* Familiarity with key concepts in cyber security, data protection, and IT infrastructure
* Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of risk management
* Basic knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to risk

Even Better If You Have:
* Applied knowledge or experience in data analysis and data visualization
* Applied knowledge or experience of technology controls framework and ability to identify corresponding risks and Issues
* Experience in identifying, designing and implementing automated processes to support business objectives
* Technology risk/control qualifications (eg ISACA/IRM etc)?Experience in leading cross-functional teams to successfully deliver business goals
* Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a proven focus on continuous improvement
* Experience in building, enhancing and/or maintaining PowerBI dashboards
