We are currently looking on behalf of one of our important clients for an IT Network Engineer (German Speaking). The role is permanent position based in Aargau Canton & comes with some office allowance.

Your role:

• Establish a new site Network including Zoning.
• Further develop a Datacentre Network.
• Participate in a Datacentre construction & consolidation.
• Advise partners on Network Services.
• Evaluate, test & introduce new technologies.
• Troubleshoot at protocol level with network analysis tools.
• Assist in & carry out the deputy function in the operation & maintenance of ICT Network Services (LAN, WLAN, Firewall, VPN & DNS/DHCP).
• Carry out IT Sub-Project Management for Network Services.

Your Skills & Experience:

• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in IT Network Engineering.
• Very proficient expertise in IP Networking (Routing, Switching, Cloud & Fabric Technologies).
• Skilled & experienced with Cisco Technologies.
• Well-practiced in LAN, WLAN, Firewall, VPN & DNS/DHCP.
• Any experience in Scripting (Python, Perl, PHP, JavaScript) is considered advantageous.

Your Profile:

• Completed University Degree in the area Computer Science or Similar.
• Ideally CCNP Certified.
• Self-motivated, reliable, solution-oriented, communicative & confident.
• Fluent in English (spoken & written) & a good command of German (to at least B2 level) are mandatory requirements.
