Job Title: Van Delivery Driver

Location:

Yorkshire and the Humber, West Yorkshire, South Kirkby

Salary:

£12 - £18 per hour

Job Duties:

Deliver a wide variety of items to customers throughout the Yorkshire region
Follow routes and time schedules
Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate a delivery vehicle
This role will involve heavy lifting at times
Complete logs and reports

Required Qualifications:

Valid UK driver's licence
Maximum of 6 points
Proven work experience as a delivery driver
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Good driving record with no traffic violations and a maximum of 6 points

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent

Experience:

Previous experience as a delivery driver

Knowledge and Skills:

Knowledge of local areas and roads
Ability to lift heavy packages and goods
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Basic maintenance knowledge of delivery vehicles

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional certifications in logistics or related field
Experience with electronic devices and GPS systems

Working Conditions:

Physically demanding role involving loading and unloading of goods
Driving in various weather conditions
Interacting with customers on a daily basis
