Position: Infrastructure Lead

Location: Reading (Hybrid - 1 day per week from the office)

Employment Status: Full-Time, 2 Year Fixed Term Contract

Package: 80k-90k + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

Tria have partnered with a global retailer who are going through a large transformation project and undertaking an exciting journey to modernise their technology and ways of working. Due to this, they have an opportunity for an Infrastructure Lead to join them to help advance several key Infrastructure houses, with one of these being Data Centre Hosting, Mainframe & IBM Power.

The position is not a 'hands-on' technical position, but you will be responsible for managing the Data Centre Hosting house and dealing with all areas related to it. Some of the key responsibilities will include the following:

• Managing offshore suppliers/high-value third-party contracts.
• Dealing with Operational Excellence for major incidents
• Roadmap integration
• Risk Management
• Procurement (relating to dealing with external vendors)

The business requires someone to have experience of all the above areas, as well as good technical experience in relevant Data Centre Hosting technologies such as:

Data Centre Hosting | Mainframe | IBM Power:

- Data Centre Hosting - IBM Mainframe

- Data Centre Hosting - IBM Power Series

- Operating Systems - AIX | Linux (Red Hat; SUSE; Oracle)
