Location: Remote (with Occasional Travel)
Employment Type: Permanent (Full Time)
Rate: £70,000 - £90,000 + Travel Expenses
Experience: 10 + years in Oracle ERP, Financials and Procurement implementation

Role Overview

Techspire Consulting is seeking an Oracle Finance/Procurement Lead to design, implement, and optimize Oracle Cloud ERP solutions. You will translate complex business requirements into scalable, functional Oracle Financials and Procurement configurations while ensuring system integrity, integration, and best practices. You will design and implement Oracle Financials and Procurement solutions, ensuring optimal alignment with business objectives. You will lead end-to-end solution delivery, system integration, and process optimization within Oracle ERP.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and deploy Oracle Cloud Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, PPM) and Procurement (Purchasing, Inventory, SQM) solutions.

  • Lead requirements gathering, gap analysis, and solution design.

  • Define CoA structure, enterprise hierarchies, and security roles within Oracle Cloud ERP.

  • Develop and optimize OTBI, FDI, and SmartView reporting.

  • Implement Oracle Intelligent Document Recognition Services for automated invoice processing.

  • Support data migration, integration, UAT, and post-go-live stabilization.

  • Troubleshoot functional issues, collaborating with technical teams on customizations, interfaces (OIC, REST/SOAP APIs), and extensions.

Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of Oracle ERP experience, including 3-4 full life cycle implementations of Oracle Cloud Financials & Procurement.

  • Deep expertise in at least three Oracle Cloud Financial Applications and Procurement modules.

  • Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud security model (RBAC), workflow configurations, and approval hierarchies.

  • Experience with PaaS extensions, OIC integrations, and BIP reporting.

  • Proficiency in FBDI, ADFdi, and spreadsheet-based data uploads.

  • Strong grasp of finance and procurement processes, risk management, and compliance.

  • Excellent research skills and the ability to apply best practices to drive innovation.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and listening skills.

  • Willingness and availability to travel if needed.

Preferred

  • Certifications in Oracle Cloud Applications (General Ledger, Accounts Payables/receivables, Project portfolio management, PO/INV).

  • Experience in UK public sector or local government
