Responsibilities for SCADA engineer

• Engineering Technicians
• The role will provide a point of reference for all associated SCADA installation design activities
• Responsible for the delivery of SCADA installation designs associated with this Network Rail project
• Monitor device changes, investigate and document change reasons
• Conduct periodic vulnerability assessments
• Drive the completion of all required implementation processes and tollgate steps including requirements gathering, process flow documentation, testing, data validation, training, post go-live support, and other project related activities
• Work with the process engineering and quality team leaders to identify and deliver process simplification solutions that drive reductions in cost and cycle time as well improved quality
• Build strong partnerships with cross functional team members
• Create a consistent communication rhythm on project status and operational improvements
• Manage and co-ordinate the planning, definition and provision of system engineering project life cycle deliverables namely

Qualifications for SCADA engineer

• Software Engineer or similar (M.Sc
• Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution
• Total 5 years for degree holders and 7 years diploma holders
• Expert knowledge of Siemens PLC logic programming with Siemens S7 and TIA Portal
• Ability to interpret complex customer specifications and develop proposals
• Working knowledge of control panel design
