DV Cleared VMware Engineer - 6-Month Contract - Hybrid - Inside IR35

My client is seeking a DV Cleared VMware Engineer to support, manage, and optimize VMware infrastructure in a high-security environment. This role requires expertise in VMware virtualization technologies, server administration, and troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues. DV clearance is essential.

Contract Details:

• Duration: 6 months (View for Extension)
• Location: On-site (UK Secure Location)
• Daily Rate: Competitive

Responsibilities:

• Maintain, configure, and optimize VMware ESXi hosts, vCenter, and virtualized environments.
• Implement and manage VMware upgrades, patches, and new deployments in a secure setting.
• Monitor system performance, resolve VMware-related issues, and optimize resources.
• Maintain detailed technical documentation and provide status updates to stakeholders.

Key Skills & Experience:

• DV (Developed Vetting) clearance is mandatory
• Strong experience in VMware ESXi, vSphere, vCenter, and vSAN
• Expertise in server virtualization, storage integration, and networking
• Knowledge of Windows/Linux OS, automation (PowerCLI, Ansible), and security best practices
